Hummingbird – Carved wood piece

The Maloka Baru indigenous people in the Amazon rainforest, Macedonia reserve, make decor handicrafts by recycling palo sangre wood, a remarkable fine species of wood with a natural reddish finish. According to the Tikuna people cosmovision, the hummingbird is the messenger of all birds and a symbol that serves as an emblem of a Tikuna clan. Dimensions: 15 cm length.
